4th of July Layout

I’m looking forward to adding photos from today’s cookout/fireworks from the lake.  Again, I am using the July Word Puzzle that CTMH is bringing back for the Stampaganza only for this month!    I also did use a retired stamp set (Journaling jots – one of my oldies fave!).   As you can see, NONE of the papers are bought from a store. Yes, ALL of the patterned papers were done with ONE stamp set, July Word Puzzle!  That’s one thing I love about stamps; that you can make your own backgrounds!

I put 3 words on each block from the stamp set.  One using Cranberry ink and the other one using Pacifica ink and random stamping the edges of the White Daisy cardstock. I also did that for the fishtail banners.  I used the black ink to stamp the “Independence Day” randomly around the edges too.

The Blue Solid Star were done in Pacifica ink. The Outline Star were done in Cranberry ink

I also distressed EVERYTHING with Desert Sand and sponge daubers to give that old distressed look.

I am including the image stamp set since it isn’t available in the stamp keeper, but it is available on my shop link. You can click on the image to go to the shop link.

Thanks for looking and have a safe and happy 4th of July!!
