HI there!! I’m Jen from the “Jen’s Messy Studio” blog & {Facebook}. I am a Deaf stay at home mom to 3 boys, age 18, 15 and 12.  I also have 1 grandson, 3 months old.  I am fur-mama to 2 full-blooded boxers, Daisy (2 1/2 years old) and Dozer (10 months old). Our oldest son is currently serving in the United State Air Force.  My husband, Jeff and I have been married for over 20 years now. I met my husband 21 years ago when he was home on leave from the United State Air Force. After a very brief courtship, we were married 6 months later. I am bi-laterally cochlear implanted with Advanced Bionics’ implants.

I have been into scrapbooking and rubber stamping for over 14 years now. I have been hooked when I was introduced to scrapbooking in 2002 through one of the groups mailing that I was on back then. I do host crop nights in my home. I joined Close to my Heart in August of 2008 and haven’t looked back since then.

I am currently senior supervisor with Close to my Heart and my team’s name is “Craftin’ Owls Haven”.  My motto for the Deaf Community is “If they can do it, we can do it!” Just because we are deaf doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the love of scrapbooking & stamping!

I also run several facebook groups. One is Deaf Scrapbooker & Cardmaker and the other is Card Swap ~ Jen’s Messy Studio.

When I am not in the Studio; you can find me curled up on the couch reading the kindle. I LOVE to read. The boys keep me very busy with their sports also. I also go on Netflix-binge!
