Thursday Technique – Triple Stamping

It is time for Thursday’s Technique!!  I was scrolling through SplitCoastStampers’s forum a couple of days ago. I came across a technique that I thought that was really neat!  it’s called Triple Stamping!!  I will include the direct link for that technique forum.  Here is my take on this cool technique.

1 – You will need to cut black cardstock (or whatever solid color you want for your “matting”): 4 x 5 1/4, 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 and 2 1/2 x 3 1/4.

2 – You will need to cut white cardstock:  3 3/4 x 5, 3 x 4 and 2 1/4 x 3.

3 – You will need to take all of your WHITE cardstock and layer them up. Use temporary tapes. I use the Removeable dotto..

4 – Pick a stamp sets that you’d want to use. I used Honeycomb, CTMH’s new stamp set in the Spring/Summer 2013 catalog. It’s very versatile and you can mix it all up with different colors which I have done so.

5 – Once you’re done with your background stamping.  Take it apart then place your white cardstock on their matting.  Glue them down then attach ribbons, sentiments or buttons. Whatever you want! Let your creative run it’s course! 🙂

6 – Last of all; Glue your front to your card base and ta-da you’re done!
