Workshop Projects (2/2/13)

Yesterday was my first workshop in 4 years.  I had put hold on having workshops due to remodeling the previous home then moving into the new home.  The kids decided to play sports right after we moved here so I didn’t have time to teach any workshop for a long time. That’s fine with me because spending time with my kids are priceless.

The hostess asked me to teach a scrapbook page and demonstrate a card.  I chose to use a background stamp set to show that we could create patterned paper a specific stamp set.

On the scrapbook page; I used the Love writing from  Universal Background Stamp Set .  On the scrapbook page; I used “Memory” from the Whooo loves you (January’s promotional stamp set – no longer available; sorry!), The family Link quote from Family Love and the Family die-cut is from our Artiste cricut cartridge!  I used Black, Ruby, Lagoon and White cardstocks.  Inkpads are black and ruby. We distressed the page with black ink-pad to give it the look.

For the card;  I used Whooo loves you (January’s promotional stamp set – no longer available; sorry!), Home Sweet Home (February’s Stamp of the Month) and musical background from the Universal Background. I used Versamark and Cocoa embossing powder on the hearts background paper (from Whooo love you set).  I used Chocolate ink-pad. The cardstock are Chocolate and Smoothie.  The ribbon is our dark chocolate striped ribbon.

Without further notice; here are the projects.

Have a GREAT day!!
