Happy Birthday Ladybug Card

I created this card for a friend’s daughter for her birthday. Isn’t this adorable! I LOVE THIS! This was my first shaker card, ever!! Considering that I have been crafting for over 17 years and have never done a shaker card! WOW!

I used the Ladybug Die-cut and Shaker Window & Confetti Die-Cut with this Shaker Windows Foam & Acetate. I used the black dots from the Hello Ladybug stamp set for its polka dots pattern, using the intense black inkpad. I used the silver star confetti for the inside of the shaker. I ran the die-cuts through the big shot.

For the “Hello There”, I used Intense Black Inkpad. The “Hello There” is from the Time to Celebrate, a Stamp of the Month for May 2020 (S2005). This is not available as it was only available during the month of May 2020. I used a retired modern label puncher from Stampin’ Up! attaching with foam tape onto the Silver Shimmer Trim.

I attached the wings by using the silver brads. I sponge distressed all of the White Daisy, Black, and Cranberry (retired) cardstocks with May | June 2020’s Mix In paper with intense black inkpad.

I use my favorite mono adhesive from Tombow to attach all of the pieces to the White Daisy card base.

All of the supplies I have are from Close to my Heart unless otherwise stated. If you are in search of a consultant from Close to my Heart; I recommend Shannon Baker.

Have a fab night! Until then.
