Valentines Day

Chalk Couture

Unboxing Designer Kit & valentine’s projects

Hello there!! I got my Chalk Couture Designer Kit on Tuesday and I had a Facebook Live Wednesday night unboxing it and creating some valentine’s day projects with it! It was so much fun!!

I had gone to Dollar Tree and bought the large tag that already had stuff on it. I had our youngest son sand them off! 🙂 I painted it with Waverly’s Chalk Paint – Plaster from walmart. I used the miniwax finishing paste to put a little bit of wax on the board. This is done to keep our Chalk Couture transfers from sticking to anything that are NOT from Chalk Couture’s products. The Chalk Couture surfaces are already prepped for our transfers so which is why we don’t prep our surfaces. Only the NON-CC surfaces, we do prep! Better be safe than sorry to ruin those beautiful transfers! You can purchasethe finishing paste wax at any home improvement store. I got mine from Lowe’s.

Are you aware that you can subscribe to the YouTube channel? There’s a video for this FB live below the supplies.

I use those following products to create those project.

Supplies Used:

Transfers: Love Grows Best, February 14th & Sprinkled with Love

Surfaces: Tree Cut-outs & Tag Board (Dollar Tree)

Chalk Pastes: Bright White, Black, Peony & Candy Red

Tools: Squeegees, Stir sticks & Fuzzing Cloth

Enjoy!!!!

Cards

Love you Gnome

OH MY GOODNESS! I love this cute gnomes! Those are from Simon Says Stamp! I had recieved December 2019 Monthly Subscription, but I just ran out of time due to the holiday. The kit is currently out of stock, but you can put in notification request. Since the kit was pretty much geared toward to Christmas so I did some modification of my own for Valentine’s Day. Be aware that there are two diferent sizes of the gnomes. The SMALL one is included in the kit. To order the LARGE gnome – you will need to go to this link.

I used the Freshly Made Sketch #411 to create this card. Most of the products are from the kit. Supply list are below.

I used the CTMH’s Basic Heart Die-cut for the heart. The sentiment tag and gray label both are from Stampin’ Up! however, they both are retired.

According to Simon Says Stamp; those products are what is in the kit:

Large 6×8 Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Gnome for the Holidays clear stamp set
PhotoPlay Kringle and Co. 6 x 6 inch papers
Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Lil’ Gnome wafer thin die

Please bear with me as I am trying to figure out to do the supply list better; since I am no longer consultant for Close to my Heart. So my links in the LinkDeli aren’t working. So I need to fix the links first. Thanks for understanding.
